In keeping with the Halloween season, the Trine University Choir and Chamber Orchestra will present music for fans of spooky compositions from the stage and silver screen at their fall concert Sunday, Oct. 28.

Trine University welcomed its fifth Doctor of Physical Therapy class at its annual white coat ceremony, held at the university's Health Sciences Education Center in Fort Wayne on Aug. 31.

A group of freshmen students in Trine University's Franks School of Education completed a pilot program this past school year that provided unique experiences to better prepare them to become effective future teachers. The 10 students were part of Trine's first Living Learning Community (LLC), which will wrap up with the group attending the 2018 Educators Rising National Conference from June 21-24 in Orlando, Florida.

Kennesaw State University recently named students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence for the Spring 2018 semester. To achieve this honor, each student must have completed at least 9 semester hours with a term grade point average of 4.0.

Wheaton College student-athletes were named to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Academic All-Conference team. The Academic All-Conference team consists of letterwinners from CCIW member institutions who achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or higher.

Students taking classes through Trine University's College of Graduate and Professional Studies earned their degrees and took part in Commencement on May 5.

Troy University is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Chancellor's List for the spring semester and Term 4 of the 2017/2018 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0 qualify for the Chancellor's List. The spring semester includes students at the Troy, Ala., campus. Term 4 includes students at TROY's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Ala., along with locations outside of Alabama and online.

Miami University Students Study Abroad Winter 2018 Semester

Students at the University of Findlay recently participated in the 2018 Juried Student Art and Design Exhibition. Any UF student was eligible to enter artwork for consideration. Categories included painting, drawing and mixed media, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, design, digital photography, film photography and visual communication.

Wheaton College students were recently inducted into the Wheaton College Scholastic Honor Society Class of 2018.

The Trine University wind ensemble will present "An Afternoon on Broadway," its spring concert, beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 29, in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.

Trine University's jazz ensembles, under the direction of Prof. Brian Derek, adjunct music faculty, will present their fall concert beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in the Ryan Concert Hall of the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.
